Accessible mobility

ATVO is committed to ensuring fair and easy access to services and infrastructure, with a view to ACCESSIBLE MOBILITY for all.

To achieve this goal, ATVO — thanks to its collaboration with the Village for all – V4A® Association, in pursuing the objectives of the “Bibione Accessible Destination” project by the Bibione Live consortium — has carried out works to improve the usability of its services, removing architectural barriers.

Specifically, all steps in the bus stations and ticket offices have been replaced with ramps to improve mobility.

In addition, tactile paths have been installed in the recently built bus stations to make movement easier for blind and visually impaired people.

The bus fleet includes vehicles equipped with a lift or ramp to make access easier for people with reduced mobility, set up to anchor 1 wheelchair per trip.

Accessible buses by type of service

Below are the detailed percentages of accessible buses by type of service:

As shown by the charts, the Company is currently able to meet the principle of “accessible mobility” on all the urban routes it operates.

In the timetables, the trips on which a bus equipped with a lift is guaranteed are marked with a specific symbol. To avoid problems due to unforeseen organisational issues and to ensure a satisfactory and adequate service, please inform the Company at least 24 hours in advance, by email at infomov@atvo.it or by phone at 0421.5944. There are no restrictions, however, for those who can transfer to a standard seat.
